How to get to Aalen

🚅The mid-size town of Aalen is easy reachable by train from various directions like Stuttgart, Ulm/München or Nürnberg. Train ticket are available here.

🚗If you want to come by car there is a direct exit from the A7 (north-south) or from Stuttgart you can take the B29. Entering Aalen you can follow the signs direction "Hochschule Aalen" or "VFR Stadion". There is a parking garage next to the University main building. 

The conference will take place in building AH. Just follow the signs "CE Forum". 

Accommodation 

We were able to reserve a limited number of rooms in the Hotel Eichenhof (100€ per night including breakfast and tax). The hotel is approx. 5 min away from the venue. Please use the code "CE Forum" during reservation to get the conference discount.

Alternatively, if you attend as a larger group, Airbnb or limehome  could also be an option.

What to do in Aalen

The surrounding hills can also be conquered on foot. A highlight is the big watch tower called "Aalen Bäumle" located South from the main city. 

At the foot of these mountains you can find wellness and a relaxing time in the "Limes Thermen". A spa with plenty of pools and sauna. 

More entertaining is the historical heart of Aalen with plenty of traditional restaurants, bars and cafés. A highlight during the day as well as at night.
